How do I apply for the UK Start-up and Innovator visa?

We can help you. It’s what we do.

Overview

Our service is unique to Bridge Partners as it facilitates the endorsement for the business idea (Stage 1) as well as implementing your immigration application (Stage 2).

There are currently over 60 endorsing bodies in the UK and each of them have a unique set of rigorous and highly competitive requirements. We work with an excellent network of endorsing bodies, so that you will be able to access those relevant to your business idea and give it the consideration it warrants. This process almost guarantees a positive outcome for you and your start-up or innovator business.

Start-up

The Start-up visa is designed for individuals looking to start a new business for the first time in the UK. You can either be a graduate or at early stages of your career and you do not need to have secured any initial funding for this category.

Innovator

The Innovator Visa replaced the Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Visa in March 2019. The Innovator category is intended for more experienced entrepreneurs. As well as an endorsement, you will need a minimum of £50,000 investment into your business idea from any legitimate source.

To benefit from the either the Start-up or the Innovator categories, you must apply for and secure endorsement by a business sponsor, who will assess your business idea for its innovation, viability and scalability.

Indefinite leave to remain

Once you have been granted the Innovator Visa and successfully established your business for three years, you may be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) provided you satisfy certain conditions. Otherwise, you could extend your visa for an additional 3 years. To be eligible you must have spent continuous period of five years in the UK and must have spent no more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12 months. You must also meet the English language requirement and pass the Life in the UK test.
